Introducing a robust camera adaptor for the Heine Delta 20…

Image

The Heine Delta 20 is an established dermatoscope throughout dermatology. Previously it was only possible to connect your Heine Delta 20 to an SLR camera, which can often been costly, bulky and cumbersome. But now, Schuco have invented a robust camera adaptor to directly connect your Heine Delta 20 to a Panasonic FS16 or FS18 compact digital camera.  With the help of the adaptor, the Panasonic camera captures clear, bright and essential pictures that can be stored against a patient record for reference and follow up.

The adapter is firmly attached to the camera by its tripod mount to give a solid and stable connection. It’s custom made to fit securely to the base allowing the user to be more confident when capturing images using the Heine Delta 20.

The easy set-up allows quick and simple interchange from one to the other, allowing the user to capture images quicker and easier than before. Its robust and lightweight design make it a valuable travelling partner for any dermatologist who works at multiple locations.

Schuco in action!

Paul Huttrer, Chairman

There’s been lots going on in the world of Schuco in the past couple of months.

If you weren’t at the 91st annual meeting of the British Association of
Dermatologists, you really missed out on seeing our latest product innovations,
such as the SKINTELL Optical Coherence Tomography device, the 308 Excimer
System and much more.

Schuco has been attending this event for over 20 years and as usual we had a really busy stand.  It was a chance to catch up with old friends, and with the
many new professionals on the scene, to see the changing face of dermatology.

We’re really proud to be getting started with online media. As chairman, I’ve been
personally keen that we provide as many ways as possible to connect with people
in our industry.

So enjoy this video with our highlights from the event and thanks for visiting
this blog !

The Schuco Experience

If you’re exploring Schuco for the first time, welcome! Here is some handy information about our business; who we are and what we do.

Did you know, Schuco is a family owned business? Established in 1957 by Felix Huttrer, an electronics engineer; with the aim of sourcing new products for the UK healthcare market, Schuco quickly became – and has remained- market leaders. Schuco is known for being on the cutting edge of product introduction.

Recently we have focused on the area of skin with the aim of becoming the skin specialists.  Our product portfolio covers skin imaging, skin surgery, skin hygiene and indeed skin healing. We sponsor the British Skin Foundation and believe strongly in the prevention and early detection of skin cancer to reduce the rates of occurrence in the UK. At many of our events and exhibitions, you will find one of our team members hosting seminars to educate people about being sun smart and mole aware.

The Schuco mission is:

To enhance our products and services and to work with our customers to make their lives easier.

We want to deliver a world class business that our whole team is proud of and we value and actively develop relationships with healthcare professionals, patients and patient support groups to ensure their needs and requirements are being met.

We are the friend of the patient, the healthcare professional, the nurse, the doctor and the surgeon. We want all of our customers to enjoy and value their relationship with Schuco and to be able to recognise that we add value to their work. We are happy to report the great feedback we receive, including:

‘I get a personal service’.
‘Schuco people care about what I do’.
‘There is always someone there to help me’.
‘They make my life easier’.
‘Schuco is a one-stop-shop for skin, electrosurgery and laser products, which saves me time’.
